Benicio Del Toro sketch
Been a while since I painted anything so I decided to get the eld colour swatches going again. Here's a sketch I made over the break honouring one of my favourite actors in one of the best movies out there - Benicio Del Toro in "21 Grams"
Still not finished though... (yeah yeah!!)

Lighting Schematic II
Here's the update from below. I took it into Shake and tweaked the colours a fair bit. Completely changed the tones of the warm hues to a colder unwelcoming colour. I added glows and compression to the mid and background to give the room a more musky dusty atmosphere.

Lighting Schematic
About time I got some colour work posted!
This is a rough lighting concept for my next animation. I tried to see how natural light would motivate the scene, dusky is usually pretty atmospheric.
I might try an alternative florescent look to it with cooler blues and greens. More variants coming soon...
